Milo is in charge of social media in our GBLA group. She loves Irish dancing, and being with family and friends. This concept is important to her because she feels that women should be able to have the same opportunity to fulfill their dreams (STEM or not) as men have.
Olivia Fedida is proud to be a member of the Girls Build LA team and organization. She loves to be active in helping people in many ways. Olivia also loves doing outdoor activities like sports, so she is very, very active. Not just in sports, but in helping people. She is interested in things like science and STEM. Olivia is very honored to be in this project.
Kinaya Smith loves reading, writing, drawing, and learning about her history. Her hobbies include reading, telling stories, and learning about animals. Her job is file management. She hopes that Team BTW will really affect a lot of young girls. Its important to get young girls into STEM fields because the number of women in STEM are low compared to men which brings girls down.
Zelda Moriwaki is a videographer and event planner for the team. She wanted to be a part of team BTW to be part of something larger than herself that will bring change to the world. When she's not shooting and editing videos, she can be found reading, baking, singing, listening to Hamilton, or solving puzzles.
India Foxworth is another proud member of Team BTW. She is very excited to write a book of short stories with her teammates because of her love of writing, and encouraging/helping other girls to pursue their dreams. Besides writing, she has a love of art, dancing, and fashion. She joined GBLA due to her enjoyment in being part of something that can help girls, and knowing that it will pay off. India is one of the social media managers.
Joley Flores gladly attends Girls Academic Leadership Academy. Her favorite classes are Science and Journalism. In her free time, she enjoys singing, dancing, and art. Joley was delighted GBLA accepted her application. Her love of helping young girls in need of influence in the STEM fields means she hopes that other young girls will follow team BTW and not only succeed, but break the wall of stereotypes that women "can't do STEM". Her job is video editing and film.
Scout Brodsky is another proud member of Team BTW. She hopes their hard work pays off in Team BTW's journey to encourage girls to pursue STEM. She loves reading, writing, art, the Broadway play Hamilton, and school. Scout is extremely interested in climatology and global warming. She joined GBLA because she loves a challenge and wants to help girls pursue STEM. Her job is Web Design, which means that she built this website and is currently editing it. Scout informs everyone through the website with Olivia.
Eleanor is a member of Team BTW. She is excited and eager to be a part of GBLA. Eleanor decided to join because she thought the idea of being helpful to young girls that are interested in STEM fields is something she was interested to be a part of. Eleanor also wanted to be a part of the program because she knew Ms. Agamegwa was a part of it. Eleanor loves to go horseback riding and read in her free time. She and Leila are project managers.
Leila is a proud member of Team BTW. Her job on the team is being a project manager. In this, she oversees and directs the group. She joined Team BTW because of her desire to change the world. Her hobbies include, reading, skiing, and spending time with her sister. Leila hopes that Team BTW succeeds in their journey.
As a proud GALA student, Jade Stashin is delighted to be a part of GBLA. Jade's job on her team, team BTW, is the Google files manager. It's her job to keep all the documents on Google drive neat and organized. In her free time, Jade prefers to code and create online games, spend time with her family and friends, and make visits to the Great Outdoors. Jade hopes that her team will be successful with its mission to help young girls break the wall!
